§ 166.005. Monuments, markers or memorials

Sec. 5.

(a) Only one monument, marker or memorial shall be permitted per burial space.

(b) No monument, marker or memorial larger than the adult burial space to which it applies shall be allowed in any City cemetery.

(c) All permanent monuments, markers and memorials shall be of stone or metal and shall be placed on concrete footings or foundations that are no higher than ground level.

(d) For monuments, markers and memorials existing within any City cemetery on the effective date of this Chapter [Part], the City shall construct the necessary concrete footings or foundations on which to place the monument, marker or memorial.
