§ 51.007. Renewal

Sec. VII. Prior to expiration of the term of the franchise, the grantee shall have the privilege, providing the performance of the grantee has been satisfactory to negotiate with the City for an additional 15-year term of the franchise and/or changes in terms or conditions; provided, however, the renewal of the franchise will be granted only after the qualifications and past performance of the grantee have been considered and approved by the City in a public proceeding.
